Your Website Editing Schedule

When you purchase a website from Market My Club you can expect to follow a comprehensive, scheduled process through various stages of its development.


Stage One: Content Development (~20 hrs)

Upon us receiving a 50% deposit, you will be provided with five website editing documents designed to assist us with communicating and customizing your website.

1. Website Content.
A Word file containing all of the content that is included with our demo site, organized by the site pages and menus under which they are positioned.

2. A Website Content Spreadsheet
An Excel file that outlines the main menu, submenus and the articles, photos and module ads that reside under each menu. This is where you will make notes on what changes/additions you want us to make.

IMPORTANT: Be very careful to think through all of your changes at this stage. Requesting additional changes or features after your content has been installed may result in additional charges not included in our agreement.

3. Autoresponders Copy
A Word file containing your 52 general, healthy-living autoresponders broken down by week.

4. A Website To-Do List
This document outlines each of the tasks that are involved in editing and completing your site.

5. Site Map
A site map is a listing of your various site menus. You will use it to approve and sign off on each page as they are completed.

We require you and your team to edit documents 1 – 3 and send the files back to us.

NOTE: Your site will be placed on our production schedule only AFTER you have returned your edited documents. The sooner you complete this step, the sooner your site will be scheduled. Depending on the number of sites we are currently working on, yours will likely take between 3 and 6 weeks to complete.


Stage 2: First Proof (~10 hours)

At this stage, your content has been loaded onto your site. We will send you a simple site map with which to carefully proof for errors and omissions. Use your To-Do list (Document 4) to cross reference against your site map and record your proofing notes in the side column before sending it back to us.

You will be invoiced for half of the balance remaining (25% of the total).


Stage 3: Second Proof (~5 hours)

This is when we “soft-launch” your website so that we can map and test the various forms and links. You will be asked to proof your site a second time. This time you will be asked to record additional notes and final changes on your site map OR initial beside each menu item indicating your approval of that page. We will follow this procedure until you have signed off on all of your pages.


Stage 4: Website Training (~5 hours)

The final stage is when we send you a Website Training Manual with step-by-step instructions on how to access and manage your website. Use this as a live-training companion booklet to refer to during our site training sessions. Depending on the number of hours remaining on our 40-hour agreement, we will schedule your training over a period of several weeks. We recommend that training is spread out and scheduled over several days so that you can practice between sessions.

We use “Go To Meeting” for our online training, which allows you to see our computer screen as we demonstrate your lessons. It also allows us to give you the controls so that we can watch how you practice the lessons.

We will conclude our website development by invoicing you the remaining 25%.

NOTES:
Extensive changes and additions made after Stage 2 will likely result in further charges.
Additional training sessions may be purchased for $125 per 1 hour session.
